How does the liver affect the skin?

First of all the liver's main role is to detoxify the blood when it comes from the colon, lymphatic system and the lungs.  After the blood has been detoxified it provides the body with oxygen and nutrients. When the liver get's build up with toxin's it has a hard time neutrilizing these toxin's.

We receive these toxins from our environment, unhealthy food, alcohol and pollution.  When the liver is build up with toxin's they leave our body through the skin.  This can cause acne and other skin disorders.

Unbalanced hormones also get built up in the liver and cause an over production of skin oil, creating clogged pores and acne. 

It has been discovered that eating more fiber can help trap excess hormones from being pumped out in the blood stream that would cause less breakouts. 

This is a great option to add more fiber to your diet, however a liver cleans would be the most effective. 

There are many different ways to detoxify the liver.  If you are very dedicated, you can do a cleanse through diet.  Most people including myself would find it much easier to take a supplement to cleans the liver.  There are liver cleanses that come in capsule form or liquid.

In my research the most effective is a liquid oral spray.  The way you can use this type of cleanse is to spray directly under the tongue onto the corpuscles it is faster absorbed into the blood stream and faster absorb into the liver.

There are many foods and spices that you can add to your diet that help cleanse the liver.

These foods & spices are:

  • Turmeric
  • Lemon
  • Ginger Root
  • Honey
  • Water
  • Organic Produce

A cleansing diet takes much dedication and focus. You will have to go on a juice fast for a couple days, eat a wide variety of raw organic vegetables, drink water with fresh lemon juice and drink a home made tea with turmeric and honey. For some it has been a great way to get rid of acne and for others was very hard to follow a restricted diet.

Using Liver Cleanse Supplements

If you do not want to change your whole diet for a while there are other options. Health and wellness companies have produced liver cleanses that are made up of herbs and all natural ingredients that have been proven to cleanse the liver and promote liver health.  Liver cleanse supplements have helped many people get rid of acne. 

Personally I would rather take supplements rather than change my diet completely and have to purchase expensive organic food. I love to eat healthy and always promote a healthy diet, however buying organic food may not be an option for some. Also I find that to include a fast and juice diet would be hard to work into my demanding schedule and life style. I have tried in the past, but did not succeed because quite frankly it was hard. I was very happy to find that there are supplements that can be taken a couple times a day.

In conclusion

After talking to others and reading reviews online, I found that some people had to flush the liver a couple time to totally get rid of acne. A liver cleanse should be done every 4 to 6 weeks for the liver to run smoothly.

A liver cleanse has helped me clear my acne and has improved my health in general. Cleansing the liver has so many health benefits and everyone should do one because of the environment we live in today.
